Pay Phones They are still out there........

On a recent trip to south Florida to move my daughter back home after 4 years of college, A horrible thing happened..... My cell phone fell in a cup of water and it quit working....Oh my God.......What was i to do ? My husband was going to drive to Uhaul truck and I was to follow in my daughters mustang. We were going to have no way of contacting each other....525 miles..... Anyway, since uhauls go at a slower pace then does a mustang : my husband let me go on ahead, but, I was to call him from a PAY PHONE when I stopped for gas...Huh ? What ? A what ? None the less I found one at a gas station. There it was all by its self in a far away corner by the road, I pulled up next to it and got out of my car, I was unsure if the thing would even work, It was in bad shape, there was a birds nest where the phone book should have been. I picked up the receiver and to my surprise there was a dial tone. I used my husbands calling card number and called his cell phone. I quickly let him know where I was and that everything was ok. I did not like being on that pay phone , it gave me the creeps..
I have a new cell phone now, And may I never have to use a pay phone again......

SISTERS

Vivian came to visit from Rhode Island this past week. Vivian is the middle sister I am the baby sister and Mary is the older sister. It is not too often that the three of us can get together, so, we make the best of it when we can. Lots of laughs and jokes between us.Vivian had her flight from new Orleans. So, her and I spent some time over there, Ya, we had fun.......
