I wrecked Betty

I got into a car accident................. Me .... Barbara......It was all so crazy. They said it was my fault too. No Way... Not me.... All I wanted to do was to pull out of a parking lot and go left. traffic stopped and waved me out...I was unsure but, I trusted them anyway; and bang ! . this car comes out of no where in the turning lane ! I smacked him good. I'm bummed..I guess it is life... Shit happens...... I guess it could have been worse... Later............

New Orleans

Bret and I went to New Orleans this past weekend. What a big mess that City is in. You can't really understand until you actually see it first hand. Trash every where. Block after block of total destruction. Yikes !They have a long way to go to recover from Katrina. Bourbon St. was , well Bourbon St.Nasty, trashy and filthy. But, still fun none the less. We went to a locals bar and had some fun with some locals. Street musicians and a couple of resturant chefs. Lost my camera, and we were sure it was lost for ever. But, the cab driver who brought us back to our hotel found it in her cab and turned it in at the hotel front desk.. Yes, there are still honest people in the world.. Later.........
