I did not want to go to the Fair

I went to the fair last night with my husband Bret and a couple of friends Susan and Joe B. I did not want to go ; but ended up having a lot of fun riding the rides. I did the the fair more often than I wanted to when my daughter Kristin was growing up. I was sooo over the fair. But we went and I had fun.. Maybe it was because I was not with little kids in the kiddie section.I guess all I have to say is you are never too old for the fair.... too much fun.......................

I get to see My Father Joe tongiht..He is in Town from Biloxi. I have not seen him since before Katrina hit. He lost everything. So, tonight I'll get to talk to him and confess things that I can't in this blog.......Later

It's getting cold outside

And it is about time.... I love this time of year... It was in the 50's today
The only problem was the wind blowing. Makes the cold go right through you Burrrrrr !!! Other than the wind I don't mind the cold ; it is a welcome break from the heat of the summer. God does it get hot here .................So, today was a good day... I felt good and enjoyed being alive....

I'm Bored !!!!

Here it is Saturday late afternoon and I'm just so bored I can't stand it......I accomplished some things today, not much but, hey I worked late last night I can not do anything once in awhile. Doing nothing is boring...

I'm bored.... Shit...My husband likes being a couch potato and has no problem with it... If I had it my way I'd be out some where.....Whoo hoo the Houston Astro's are playing tonight against the Chicago white sox...

Young at heart

I feel like I'm still in my 20's I'm full of energy, I love Life and I couldn't be happier. It just that my face is showing my age. So, what's a girl to do ? Go and see her Botox doctor.. Botox is my new best friend. Love it ..
I know it is not for every one, because some people are not as vain as I am. I admit it, I like looking as good as I can. And if I have to get painful injections in my forehead Oh well..
So, I went this morning, and I feel great. Now I'll work out and feel even better. Working out is my friend too. Love it....

Bret's new Harley

My husband bought another Harley. A custom Harley. It is a nice bike.'He is going to keep in Ft Worth TX. As he goes over there quite allot to ride with his boss Gary and others in the Wino Crew.
We went over there last weekend, I could not ride with him until he gets a seat for me on the back. I had to ride with his boss Gary,. We had loads of fun !!! Can't wait to go again ....

Holiday Inn

What do you think this ? A Holiday Inn ?
One month after Hurricane Katrina. I'm staying at a Holiday Inn with my husband while he works at one of his pharmacy sites. There are several family's staying here; displaced from New Orleans. Their Homes are gone ! They do not know what is in their future. They are in limbo. I sat with a couple of elderly ladies outside the lobby of the hotel. They were hanging out on the benches as if they were back home sitting on their porches. Talking about their ordeals , being at the super dome and being split up from their familys, going from one shelter to another from Oaklahoma to Tenn until finally ending up here in Jackson Ms. to be reunited with there familys at this Holiday Inn. The hotel has allowed several familys to remain here at no cost. There was a local news team here this morning to hear the stories of their plight. And to give the hotel staff praise as they go above and beyond to make these people feel at home. I feel for these people ; I get to leave here in awhile to my home . They don't......................
