Simple Math

I went to work yesterday to train as a cashier for lunch at lighthouse point. This is the place where I was transferred to after Ivan took out the O'club. My position at the Oclub was Bartender/ Cashier for the past 23 years. So, anyway, This girl is trying to show me how to run the cash register and quickly informed me that when I rang up a customer I had to use the Cash tendered key. That is the idiot key where you tell the cash register that the customer gave you a twenty dollar bill and the sale was six dollars and gee you owe them fourteen dollars back. I have never use this key before. I can count and have never had a problem figuring out change. She told me I had to use this key. I asked why? And she said because otherwise How would I ever know how much change to give Out ? Hmmmm beats the heck out of me ?

Back from Los Angelas

I'm back from my wonderful trip tp LA. My daughter Kristin and I drove 2100 miles striaght in 34 hours from LA to Pensacola. We had fun.
I have a few new friends in Cali. Juli and Laura. Laura is more like family she is Kristin's west coast mom. I had such a good time I went to Umberto's a famous celebrity salon in Beverly Hills. I got about 5 to 6 inches of my hair cut. I house sat for Laura while she was whisked away to TorreyPines by her friend Kim. I took care of her dog Boo Boo and cats Mackie, Louie, and LuLu. Oh and Ralphie the mouse and Charlotte the spider. I enjoyed taking care of all of them.

What do you do when you go to LA ? Go out to a bar on Sunday night and get thrown out. And No I'm not going to divulged why we got thrown out.But I can say this; it was not anything I did. It was the others in my group. We did have fun.

I believe in Angels

While I was in Dallas over the 4th of July I ran across a shop with the cutest little whimsical figurines. I found my perfect Grandma angel. My Daughter had just recently lost a second Grandma. I told her she now had Two special angels watching over her. I bought her one of these angels. To remind her. We all have Angels to watch over us, You just need to believe.

I Love My Brother

I love my younger brother as well as the 6 others who are older than I. My brother Rob is in Saudi. He has been over there for a year and a half now. He is done, he wants to come home. He went over there in the hopes of getting ahead of the game financially. But, it has not worked out as he had hoped. So, I will be here for him , when he comes home in OCT this year. I held him up when he was only 1years old And I'm still here to hold him up 40 something years later. Luv ya Bro !!!
